Everyone gets ball and frisbee time, indoors and out. At the moment our guests have a 1/2 acre fenced enclosure in which to play 24-hrs a day (expansion to a full acre is slated for spring '06). Twice a day they are taken out of the fenced enclosure for a long "run" through our forest acreage. Their "recall" is tested before we proceed, and with pockets full of treats and being the only human in the area, I look like Pied Piper Auntie Gail with my group of dogs as we walk through the property!
Indoor time is spent in the playroom/sleep area where the dogs can wrestle with new pals long into the night or retire to quiet spots to watch or sleep. There are 2 couches and 2 captains beds with "house comforters". Each dog may bring their own "bed", although it isn't recommended. Things have a way of becoming tug-of-war articles quite a lot. I use moving blankets for house comforters and have plenty to spread around any season.

In the winter the doors stay closed but the doggie door gives 24-hr access and the furnace blasts full time. They keep pretty toasty. During the rest of the year, both doors to the kennel are open day and night. At night deer feed on the property and it's fun to watch the dogs watch the deer--either totally mesmerized or barking their heads off--certainly a different experience for them all.
